BITCOIN POKER PROTOCOL

Bitcoin is the primary asset for the high-stakes tables at Stake. To ensure your chips are available for the next blind level, you must understand the on-chain confirmation process.

Verified Deposit Specifications

Stake utilizes Native SegWit (Bech32) addresses. Deposits are credited to your poker balance automatically once the transaction is verified by the blockchain.

Bitcoin Poker FAQ: Confirmations & Fees

When will my BTC show in my balance?

Stake requires exactly 1 network confirmation. You can track your transaction progress by pasting your TXID into a block explorer. Once the block is mined, your funds are instantly available for play.

Why is my transaction still "Pending"?

If your transaction has 0 confirmations, it means it is currently in the Bitcoin Mempool. To avoid long waits, ensure you set an appropriate sat/vB fee based on current network demand before sending.

Do withdrawals require confirmations?

Withdrawals from Stake are broadcast to the network immediately. Your private wallet will display the incoming transaction as "unconfirmed" until it is included in a block by a miner.

Pro Strategy: The RBF Protocol

I always recommend using a wallet that supports Replace-By-Fee (RBF). If the network becomes congested while I'm live on Kick, RBF allows me to "bump" the fee of a pending deposit, ensuring it hits that vital 1st confirmation before late registration ends.
